Asha - Portrait shoot at Sunnyside Beach
Here are some portraits shot with Asha Urielle. I love working with her. We always get awesome shots. At this shoot we got lucky, but not how you’re thinking. The Sunnyside courtyard is usually locked up but as we passed by we noticed the gates were open! Sometimes it’s better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission so we walked in and started shooting. The plan was to do our thing and if somebody asked us to leave then we would oblige. I think they were cleaning up the area for an even later that night. The workers seemed to be enjoying the distraction and nobody bothered us.
I used my ClassicNegish preset to edit the shots. It’s slightly based on Fujifilm’s Classic Neg film simulation. I like it because it takes the warm tones out of the greens and makes skin tones pop. It worked well on these edits.
